Rev’It Eclipse Women’s Jacket

Rev’It is one of those companies that has been producing women’s protective gear almost since its inception because of the number of female riders in the Netherlands. Most importantly, they have a long history in both touring and endurance racing, so both full leather track jackets and hot-weather mesh jackets are full of edgy designs.

One such example is the Eclipse, which has an open, flow-through mesh that doesn’t appear to have any abrasion resistance at all. However, the mesh is made of the same polyester ripstop material as the jacket’s main chassis. While the solid panel is rated at 600D, the mesh itself is rated at 400.

The Eclipse has adjustable biceps and wrist closures, full YKK zippers, two exterior pockets and one interior pocket, and very stylish boots. The armor is in Knox Flexform form at both the shoulders and elbows and feels very light, but has CE level impact protection. The jacket can be fitted with an optional back protector.
