The Fat Quarter Shop was founded in 2003 by Kimberly Jolly. An avid quilter, Kimberly began her shop as a side business while still working a corporate position, cutting, packing and shipping right out of her house during evenings and weekends. From the very beginning, she was committed to delivering top-notch service for every single order and customer. As the Fat Quarter Shop’s reputation grew, Kimberly decided to make it a full-time operation. Her husband Kevin joined her not long after, and with his help, lots of hard work, and a tireless commitment, the store began to grow. Over the past few years a few more people have joined the staff!

Standard shipping is USPS (United States Postal Service).
UPS Ground service is $15, free on orders over $250. See some restrictions below.
Orders are shipped USPS Mail or UPS Ground based on your choice during checkout with a few exceptions. Orders to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, and other non-contigous locations will only be shipped USPS. Also, USPS is the only option to ship to PO boxes or US military/diplomatic addresses (APO, FPO, DPO).
– USPS Mail delivers in 1-3 business days but is not guaranteed. Orders to non-contiguous states may be longer.
– Orders shipped UPS Ground take 1-5 business days depending on how close you are to us in Texas.
We want all of our customers to be 100% satisfied! We have a 30-day return policy on items you are not satisfied with. Please contact us before returning an item so we can provide additional instructions and expedite your return process.
If a product in your order is incorrect, damaged or missing, please contact customer service within 30 days of receipt of the order so that we can work with you to make it right. Unfortunately we will not be able to replace, reship or refund if we’re not notified within those first 30 days.
Exceptions: Quilt club membership fees are non-refundable. Sale items may not be returned. Due to copyright laws, patterns and books may not be returned. We do not provide replacement packaging for products that are not otherwise damaged.
Refunds will be issued once returns are received and processed by us. Refunds will not be given for shipping charges. Refunds for refused or abandoned packages will be at our discretion.
