Adidas Trae Young 2.0 Shoes
Atlanta Hawks point guard Trae Young is making a name for himself in the NBA as the newest member of the Adidas basketball sneaker family. He debuted his first pair of sneakers, the adidas Trae Young 1, in the 2021 playoffs. The adidas Trae Young 2.0 is the latest model, still featuring the signature sock-like ankle and a knit upper instead of mesh. the Boost midsole provides energy return with every step.
Adidas Trae Young 1
The rae Young 1 released at the perfect time for the eponymous athlete to absolutely tear it up in the 2020 NBA Playoffs. The highlight of this sneaker is the air cushion. With a full-length Lightstrike midsole and a Boost-equipped heel, this is the first time we’ve seen an ETPU-based air cushion on a shoe worn by Trae Young. The impact protection in the rear is a force to be reckoned with, and the responsiveness in the forefoot is good. However, traction is a bit tricky. If you play mostly on clean courts, you won’t have a problem. Despite the minimal lace loops, support is not compromised in any way.
Damian Lillard’s iconic Adidas basketball shoes have changed the game for the Three Stripes. A name like Dame brings serious credibility to any brand, but combine that with the fact that the iconic line is one of the best performing families of basketball shoes, and you have a winner. Our favorite aspect of this shoe is the Bounce Pro midsole, which provides amazing energy return for your jumps. Not to mention that these are the more vibrantly colored basketball shoes on the court.
Adidas Pro Bounce 2019
These shoes are comfortable, lightweight and responsive. This is another one of my picks from the men’s collection for women. The shoe features a minimalist and clean design that makes it a crowd pleaser.
The Adidas Pro Bounce 2019 features Flexible Bounce midsole cushioning, a soft, flexible and resilient foam, hence the name. The Bounce cushioning is designed in-house by Adidas and performance is a primary consideration.
The outsole features a Zonal herringbone pattern and flex grooves for excellent grip. It has a padded ankle collar and extra cushioning for added stability. A lace closure ensures* and comfort. The upper is made of a two-tone textile material with a textile lining. It is secured to your foot with a lace closure.
Sizing for these shoes can be tricky. I recommend checking at least two sizes to try to find the right fit.
Adidas Entrap Mid Women’s Basketball Shoe
With a mid-top design, this shoe puts a modern spin on retro B-ball style. The Adidas women’s basketball shoe features an imported sole that goes up to three inches. The shaft is approximately 6-12 inches from the arch.
